I think this might be my favourite moment of Australian television. The looks on everybody’s faces in the audience when Justine and Simon start singing the song make me sob hysterically every time. Also mad props to Georgie Parker for just standing there making Diddle wave the whole time.
A beautiful moment.
Note to self: Don’t watch it in the postgrad lounge ever again.
